I want to like aldi but since I like to use cash the cashiers never being present is really inconvenient & starting to get on my nerves. Almost every time I wait for 5 minutes or more for a cashier to appear. What really makes me aggregated is waiting meanwhile employees see me but the cashier is on an ale that can’t see me. Why do the employees that see me not notify the cashier? In my opinion the manager should be aware of this and get them to start working as a team because we don’t have all day to wait & I shouldn’t have to go searching for the cashier when it’s clear 2 employees already seen me.

The produce and dairy were fantastic prices. Got a lot of good bargains thru out the clean store. Remember your bags. We drove 1.5 hours for the trip so we had our ice chests too.

Store cashier hears me say “it’s my first time” and I’m shopping with a 11 month old baby. I look down after looking after my child and loading the belt.. my groceries aren’t bagged. Don’t you think that she would have told me… “since it’s your first time I should tell you that we offer bags if you don’t bring your own” ?!! I’m looking down at a grocery cart full of unbagged groceries after all of this.. (as silly as it sounds.. she could have acknowledged it. )She however, did not. Then I looked around and noticed the bags at self checkout. I told her “so we can buy bags or bring our own it to you, yeah?”… she said “yes mam” .. would have been very lovely to know this in the first place 😂 just trying to keep things light Thank you 😊

No grocery bags so they scan and throw everything into your cart. You have to load everything one by one into your vehicle praying nothing slides or falls while driving. Also, have to pay a quarter to use a cart(not a big deal). Store is so small, and everything is some foreign brand names that nobody knows the quality or taste of. It’s cheap but definitely not worth it. Never going back.

The staff has always been so helpful whenever I have questions. The prices are great compared to other grocery stores in the area. And being able to have a selection of food from other countries is really cool

I'd give this place a 6 IF I COULD!!!! I absolutely LOVE the atmosphere and selection of great items at an even greater value!!! PLUS you get to use a quarter for your basket....SUPER CUTE!!! <3

The only thing I would ask is that Aldi would have a motorized shopping cart, but they don’t every time I go in there it’s broken someone didn’t take care of it. Aldi does not have people to bring it in or bring it back to charge it so it gets left out rained on. It’s really a shame that when people shop there they can’t return it so that the next person can have the use of it. As far as Aldi‘s products are great Their produce is the best.

So proud of Lafayette for finally opening their doors to this business. ALDI is very well priced compared to other competitive grocery markets AND it has far better morals attached to their name than other companies of a similar nature. ALDI has all the food you would need and if they don’t, they may have it next week with their continuous rotation of LTO items. This is the perfect place to go grocery shopping as a college student or a family. No matter who you are, this place is awesome for saving money and meal prepping.

First if you aren't familiar with Aldi, bring your own bags or plan to our have some and you will need a quarter to unlock your cart to make your shopping experience a bit easier. This location isn't that large but does have a nice selection of just about everything. Some brands may not be familiar but they do offer some items you may not see often and most of their brands are great with many prices being lower than competitors. Nice selection of produce, even an aisle with a random assortment of clothing, home items and other merchandise. Fun to shop around and check out the new items.
